Business Cards As a Religious Tool

January 25th, 2011

As important as they are to the business industry, business cards are also crucial to the Christian world. To business owners, these cards are used to meet new customers, strengthen customer relationships, and increase sales and profits. For Christians, they can create religious cards to deliver a message, promote a church, or spiritual service. As small as they are, these religious cards can effectively deliver messages of faith to those who need it and serve as a lifeline to salvation to people of great need of deliverance.

Here are some ways you can use your business card as a tool of faith:

1. Promote a church. Is your church looking for new members? Or does your church desire to reach out to as many people as it can? Then, use your card to find people who want to know about Jesus. You can ask your members to pass around your card to increase people awareness. Be sure to also carry around a good number of your card to easily hand it out when needed.
2. Change people’s life. Giving your card to someone you just met on the street can be your greatest gift to him or her. You never know that person can be in the lowest point in his life and your card can give him hope to stay strong throughout his ordeal. Often, people don’t realize that they have received the greatest gift they can ever have. Only when they can no longer go on without divine intervention do they realize that the help they need was right in their wallet all along. The best thing about cards is that it is patient and can stay in anyone’s wallet for as long as they need to.
3. Offer a second chance. Not all people are willing to hear and accept the words of faith that you offer them. By leaving them your business card, you are giving them the chance for a return visit when they do need your help. Your business card printing will serve as the lifeline they can hold onto when they need salvation.
4. Raise funds. When you need to renovate your church, collect money for a pilgrimage, or get donations for a good cause, your business can help spread the word of what your group aims to achieve. When designed and distributed properly, you can effectively collect the amount that you need to realize your goal. It would be best to print at the back of the business card the projects you have in line to give people an idea where their donations will go to.

There are other purposes of business cards. However you use your cards, it will surely elicit response from people, make good contact with them, and establish positive relationship with them.

Be sure to design your card effectively to show your faith. You can consider including a fish, dove, or a cross in the design to allow people to put their trust and faith in you. Also, hire a good and reliable printer to produce good printouts. This will ensure you get a cheap and convenient way of producing your business cards. When done effectively, your religious business card will be the best tool you can use to encourage people to a greater purpose.

There is nothing more personal than a card-in-hand! A business card is unique way of exchanging contact information and is usually used during sales calls and offer contact information to a potential customer. They are swapped during formal introductions and act as a convenience and a memory aid. A business card usually has the name of the person, company along with the logo, contact information, address and URL of the website. Business cards have traveled a long way from simple black text on white stock to a professionally designed one that features captivating visual design. For businessmen across the world they have become a sign of prestige and stand as a symbol of good business etiquette.

In the age of globalization they have almost become a necessity. Imagine yourself sitting with 10-15 people. It’s not easy to remember the names of all the persons present at the gathering, you need a card to serve the purpose.

A recent trade research reveals that the business card printing in the US is a $1.2 billion industry and with the advent of advanced technology the function of business cards is increasing. Yes that’s right, nowadays people are anxious to make a distinction with passionately vibrant and multi-textured formats, from plastics to linens. Some sophisticated business cards even carry computer chips which enable you to plug it into your PC and download catalogs or company information.

Yesterday I met one of my friend who offered me his business card. It was a double sided business card with facts about himself, name of the company and website. The card was unique as when it was turned to an angle it shows a sequence of images of a man in camouflage climbing on a boulder. He told me that everyone looks at it and hands it back to me. When I tell them I’m giving it to them, they say, really! Oh wow, can I keep this?

You must be thinking what you have to do with all this? There is a relation. Business cards are a form of advertising. No matter what you are selling, product or yourself, uniquely designed business with amazing visuals or appealing images can enhance your business prospect by leaps and bounds. A unique card will cost you a little extra but the reaction you will be getting is priceless.

Business Card Printing

January 23rd, 2011

One of the most important printing needs of a business is business card printing. Business cards are usually the items that give potential clients the very important “first impression” that businesses need to help them succeed. Professional-looking business cards are more likely to be considered by a potential client while shabby-looking cards are often discarded. To achieve that professional look, most businesses seek the services of printing companies that are experts at making effective business cards.

It is then very important to know what you want to project and be able to communicate this to your business card printer. Investing in your calling cards and choosing the right look will leave a lasting impression.

Long term investments

Professional looking business cards are usually more expensive than conventional business cards because these cards are often in color or are made using high-quality glossy paper. The added cost of using color and high-quality paper may seem too much for some businesses, especially those that are just starting out, but investing in these can be considered a long-term investment, given the importance of the role that business cards play in business. Given the high cost of these cards, you must then be able to scrutinize the proposed cards that printers submit for your approval.

Things to look for

Once the proposed cards have been submitted, you must then look for certain things on the card and the image that it projects. One of the first things that should be considered is the first impression it makes. Ask yourself if the card communicates your vision. Make sure it grabs the attention and that all pertinent information on the card will be absorbed by the person reading it. In line with this, you must also make sure that your brand name and logo are printed on the card so that brand awareness and recall are maximized.

Lastly, the card should project a professional image and should remain as simple as possible, since unnecessary distractions, such as too many graphics, can be a turn-off.

Investing in professional-looking business cards can help your business expand its client base because of the good first impression it leaves on potential clients. Be aware of what you put on your cards and maximize their potential as effective marketing tools for your business.
